Center Church is dedicated and committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the Savior of all who believe in Him and the Lord of our lives. As a church we recognize that we are the body of Christ and soon to be the Bride of Christ (at His return) so we attempt, with the help of the Holy Spirit to live according to God's Holy Word (The Bible) which we believe to be the infallible Word of God passed on to us through the Holy Spirit led, God anointed/appointed writers of the Bible.
Isaiah 56:7 (NIV) "...for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." It is our goal to actively seek for Center Church to be a house of prayer, for all ministries to be bathed in prayer, for all who worship here to feel God's touch through prayer, and to open up our worship experiences to times of extended and Spirit led prayer. We believe in prayer for salvation and redemption, healing and wholeness, discipline and discipleship, understanding and wisdom, hope and contentment. We believe that God still answers prayer, still performs miracles, still forgives sinners and actively seeks after the lost.
All people are welcome to worship with us as we seek to follow His scriptural teaching as understood through centuries of Biblical scholarship and orthodox Christianity. Our current congregation of members and friends are wonderful people of differing backgrounds, races, and personalities united by a relationship with Jesus Christ.
